School Closed: Thanksgiving Recess 11/25-26

The NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) and the NYC Test + Trace Corps (T2) have determined that a member of our school community has tested positive for COVID-19 and may have exposed others while at school.

If a student has misplaced a sweatshirt or jacket in the last few weeks please check out the clothing rack in the student cafeteria which contains a "lost & found" of many items neatly displayed on hangers on a large clothing rack. If you or your child believe they have lost an item please have your student check the lost and found to retrieve the item. Items will be displayed until the end of next month.

Today I am writing to share an important update about our school. The NYC Test + Trace Corps (T2) and the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) have completed a thorough investigation into COVID-19 cases in our school. They have determined that the school may remain open for regularly scheduled activities.

The health and safety of our students and staff, and everyone in the DOE family across the city, is our top priority. We are committed to ensuring you have the information you need on COVID-19 as we continue to navigate this public health emergency together.

Picture retake day is set for Nov 10th , if your child was either absent on picture day or you are not satisfied with your child's pictures they may take a retake on this day.



Should you wish to have your child retake their photo , they will need to bring back their entire package (minus the class composite picture) on the day of retake.

Schools in NYC are closed on Thursday, Nov. 11 in observance of Veterans' Day.
