New York City Public Schools will be closed and will pivot to a remote learning day on Tuesday, February 13.

Dear I.S. Families,

Due to expected severe weather conditions, New York City Public Schools will be closed and will pivot to a remote learning day on Tuesday, February 13. While buildings are closed, school will be in session remotely for all students. Students will be expected to log on and participate in their classes from home. 

All afterschool activities for Tuesday, February 13 will be canceled. 

Student attendance will be taken through Google Classroom and students are to log in and record attendance between 7:00am-8:20am. The form will close at 8:20am. Teachers will be providing instruction remotely and our students will be working synchronously(live on camera) and at times may be working asynchronously(off camera for independent assignment or tasks). Students will follow the usual schedule for a Tuesday and break for lunch as if they were in school:

Period 4- Grade 6 lunch 10:35-11:17am

Period 5- Grade 7 lunch 11:20am-12:02pm

Period 6- Grade 8 lunch 12:05pm-12:47pm
