Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP)

Dear I.S. 24 Families,

The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a federal subsidy to help families afford broadband service. It is a benefit program that makes the temporary Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB) a permanent option for eligible households. All families with a student enrolled in a DOE school or program are eligible for this benefit. The program offers monthly discounts up to $30 on internet bills. It also provides for a one-time device discount of up to $100 with participating providers. To support families in our school with this service, please see flyer attached.

Families can confirm their eligibility, apply for the program, and find participating broadband providers via the ACP Benefit website, by mail (details are on the website), or through a participating local ISP. Families that experience trouble with enrollment or have questions about the status of an application may call the ACP helpline at (877) 384-2575. In addition, families can visit AccessNYC for more information on how to apply, and to access plain language guides about this opportunity. As part of this process, families may request confirmation of enrollment in a school; please use the letter provided via the ATS RFTF function as needed.
