The DOE will host citywide virtual Career and Technical Education (CTE) High School fairs from 5:45–7:00 p.m. on January 18 (Brooklyn and Staten Island), January 19 (Queens), and January 20 (Bronx and Manhattan); the events are organized by borough, but families can attend any event that they choose. The fairs will provide middle school students, parents, guardians, and families with an opportunity to interact with leaders and students from CTE schools and programs, and showcase industry and college partners collaborating with CTE programs. The fairs will also include programs that provide pathways to success in the following industries:
Automotive and Transport;
Business and Finance;
Construction and Sustainability;
Culinary Arts, Hospitality and Tourism;
Engineering, Architecture and Robotics;
Healthcare;
Information Technology;
Law and Public Safety; and
Media and Design.
