Dear I.S. 24 Families & Students,
We are expecting to see some rainy mornings this week and since we have not had any yet since school began on September 13th this is to inform you, we will continue to have students enter the school during morning arrival on Cleveland Avenue as we have each day. Students will enter the main school yard and use specific doors to enter by grade and then wait indoors for the school day to begin at 8:00am. Students will be separated in different locations by grade to be kept out of the rain.
As a reminder, student drop-off is permitted on Cleveland Avenue from 7:30am-8:00am. The gate will close at 8:00am and then you will need to use the front of the building to enter the school. Students who walk to school and are traveling alone or escorted by a parent will continue to use the center school yard gate to enter in the morning.
