Letter from the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene

Dear I.S. 24 Families,

 

The NYC Department of Education has asked schools to share the attached letter with all families with students who are 12 years of age or older. The letter is written by the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.

 

The letter explains to families: 

• Who is eligible to receive the vaccine, based on age;  
• Which vaccine brand the FDA advises for students, based on age;  
• Important information about the Pfizer vaccine; and    
• How to make an appointment for vaccination.
