On behalf of Acting Superintendent Dr. Marion Wilson, I am forwarding to you this message:
"As a district, we would like to acknowledge and remember those who lost their lives directly or indirectly related to the COVID pandemic. Almost one year ago, our lives were abruptly interrupted and changed in multifaceted ways.
There were deaths, suicides, tragedies, loss of employment, heightened food insecurities, panic, shift to remote learning, lack of socialization, and so much that affected us as a world, nation, city, island, and district.
In remembrance of those who are no longer with us in D 31, Friday, March 12 at 9:30am we will have a moment of silence. I would love your participation in this time of observance to show our unity as one community. "
