FAQ's for Testing for COVID-19 in school

Dear I.S. 24 Families,

 

I hope this e-mail finds you well and managing the best way possible during these times. We know everyone is doing the best they can and we appreciate everyone's efforts at this time. Many questions are still being asked regarding COVID-19 testing in schools so we wish to update you with some recent updates from the DoE.

 

Please review the updated Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) using the link below and found on the website for the Department of Education. The month of October will begin random sample testing of students and staff in schools and a randomly chosen sample will be asked to participate. We are not aware when this will be starting at our school and I hope to learn more about this shortly.

 

Consent forms were already sent home via email and backpacked with students. Forms can also be found on or website www.barnes24.org.
