We are pleased to inform you that I.S. 24 is fortunate to be able to offer your child an opportunity to participate in our Self Sustaining After School Program (SSASP). In an effort to enrich your child’s middle school experience we are offering a variety of extra-curricular activities (see below).

We are pleased to inform you that I.S. 24 is excited to announce our Night Center Self Sustaining After School Program. The Night Center programs will be held on Wednesday and Thursday nights from 5:00 PM-6:30PM. The cost of each program is $185.00 for a seven (7) week session.

Get ready to hit the court with our Intramural Basketball Program! This fun and engaging program is perfect for students of all skill levels who want to improve their basketball abilities, make new friends, and stay active. No experience necessary! Beginner and intermediate levels are encouraged to join this program. Participants will learn essential basketball skills, including dribbling, shooting, passing, and teamwork, through friendly games. Join us for an exciting season of basketball, where fun and fitness come together!

Nets, nets, nets! Come enjoy an evening of sports that includes floor hockey, pickleball, ping pong, badminton, European Handball and other small group games. Whether you enjoy playing individual type activities or larger team sports, Mr. Brancato has the activity for you!

Only Credit Cards using our online payment form will be accepted. (No cash, money orders, or personal checks) Transportation will not be provided for this program. Please complete the registration form online at www.barnes24.org. Applications and payment are due by February 6, 2025. General policies: Registration fees are refundable minus the credit card fee only if a class is canceled. Your child will be accepted to the program upon receipt of both the registration and fees. Placement into a class goes according to availability. There will be no bus transportation available. Failure to pick up your child at dismissal can lead to the removal from the program. Program starts promptly at 5:00PM - ends at 6:30 pm. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. O'Connor in the gymnasium
